What is Squishee® material?

Squishee® is a patented man-made material that resembles natural straw but is more durable, flexible, and packable, allowing hats to be crushed and still regain their original shape.

How do I determine my hat size?

Most of our hats feature an adjustable elastic inner band. To find your perfect fit, measure the circumference of your head just above the ears and refer to our size guide.

Are Eric Javits hats UPF rated?

Yes, many of our Squishee® hats are independently tested and rated UPF 50+, providing the maximum level of sun protection by blocking 98% of UV rays.

Can I pack my hat in a suitcase?

Hats made of our signature Squishee® material are designed to be packable. We recommend stuffing the crown with soft clothing to maintain the shape during travel.

How should I clean my Eric Javits bag or hat?

We recommend spot cleaning with a damp cloth and mild detergent. Do not submerge in water or dry clean.
